On upcoming Saturday Hungary hosts Germany in an international friendly match at the Ferenc Puskás Stadium of Budapest. For Germany it´s the second last text match before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

In contrast to Germany the Hungarian team are not qualified for the FIFA World Cup. Hungary finished their group behind Denmark, Portugal and Sweden on rank 4. Hungary have also won just two of their five home matches (2-1-2). The only international match in this year, a friendly game at home against Russia, ended with a 1:1 draw. Germany faces at the FIFA World Cup 2010 in Group D on Australia, Ghana and Serbia. The DFB team will be the favourite in this group and should advance normally to the round of 16.
